So many UFC events. So many VIP packages. We can’t contain our excitement. We are halfway through 2016 – can you believe it? So far this year, we have seen some incredible fights, and it will only get better from here. The fun starts this weekend! Are you ready? Right now we are going to look at the next 6 UFC events lined up on our calendar.
Let’s get started!
UFC Fight Night
First up on our list is UFC Fight Night between Rafael dos Anjos and Eddie Alvarez. The fun begins the Thursday of Fight Week as this marks dos Anjos’ second attempt at defending his 155-pound title. He has won five straight against a laundry list of top fighters including Nate Diaz, Anthony Pettis and Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone. Three of his last five victories came via knockout. He’s clearly defined himself as the best in his weight class, so this fight presents a rather daunting task for Alvarez.
The Ultimate Fighter® Finale
The women’s strawweight champ Joanna Jedrzejczyk will take on Claudia Gadelha during The Ultimate Fighter 23 Finale. We love this matchup because of the intensity between the two fighters. Joanna and Claudia are always going at it with their words, so we can’t wait to see them go at it in the Octagon. Will Joanna reign supreme or will Claudia snatch the belt away? Check out our predictions!
The rematch of all rematches. The bad blood between Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones makes this bout all the sweeter. This is easily the most-anticipated event of UFC 200, especially because of the buildup and hype around it. This rivalry is nothing short of entertaining, and we know we can expect one heck of a fight between the two. Between this fight, Lesnar vs. Hunt, Tate vs. Nunes, and Aldo vs. Edgar, we have a stacked card for UFC 200. It doesn’t get much better than this, folks. Check out our predictions for how UFC 200 will go down!
And the good times keep on coming as the UFC will head to Atlanta in August! UFC 201 will be one event you don’t want to miss as Welterweight Champion Robbie “Ruthless” Lawler takes on Tyron “The Chosen One” Woodley. Plus, Demetrious Johnson will defend his Flyweight belt once again as he continues to move down the list of contenders to Wilson Reis. Every king’s reign comes to an end, but in this case, we don’t see Reis ending Johnson’s anytime soon.
Another rematch we’ve been waiting for – Nate Diaz vs. Conor McGregor. McGregor likes to go against the status quo, which is obvious seeing as though he wants to venture into different weight classes. The first time around, the odds weren’t in his favor and Diaz submitted him via rear-naked choke in Round 2. Will the second go-round be any different? One thing is for sure, McGregor still has the confidence and is determined to win this bout despite his previous loss.
Hello, Cleveland! September will be here before we know it, which will feature a great matchup between the heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic and #3 Alistair Overeem. This is perfect since Cleveland is Miocic’s hometown. Plus, we get to see CM Punk make his fight debut in a bout against Mickey Gall. Although young, Gall is the considerable favorite over Punk, who has no amateur or professional MMA experience. Should be quite interesting! This card is looking to be one of the biggest of the year.
Pick Your UFC® Event
With so many good UFC events coming up over the next few months, it might be hard to decide which one to attend. Granted, you could just attend them all!
Because VIP packages are already selling out really quickly for these events, we recommend booking yours sooner rather than later. Choose your event and we will handle the rest. Rest assured, no matter which one you attend, you will have time of your life. How could you not?
