About The Venue
In addition to the upcoming UFC® event, the venue will host a varied lineup of entertainers, including international musical artists, DJs, the country’s first NBA game in many years, and several live family-friendly theatrical events.
The site itself was built as a beacon of comfort and modern architecture, in what is touted as one of Mexico’s most secure venues. (With over 300 security cameras installed it’s difficult to argue that!)
Mexico City Arena boasts 124 luxury suites, nearly a thousand screens for fans’ viewing pleasure and two helipads. The arena is built to dazzle.
One feature of the Arena is the outdoor LED screen, 6,200 square meters, and the indoor screen, 700 square meters, making both of the screens one of the largest indoor and outdoor displays in the world.
The venue is conveniently located near the Fortuna station of the nearby Suburban Railway, as well as one of Mexico’s largest universities, TecMilenio University.

Have you been to Mexico before? What're you most looking forward to checking off your list of to-do's during this trip?
Be There for UFC 180
UFC® 180 has already been rocked by injuries. The UFC’s first trip to Mexico will no longer include heavyweight champion and Mexican-American, Cain Velasquez. Joe Lauzon and Diego Sanchez will also be absent from the card.
So what do the 20,000 plus fans who bought tickets have to look forward to?Lots.
Many UFC® fighters are from, or have roots, in Mexico. For the native fighters, their family and their fans, it is a much anticipated homecoming and a chance to entertain some of the UFC’s most loyal fans.
UFC® 180 has gained the explosive, #4 ranked Mark Hunt, in place of Velasquez. He will take on Fabricio Werdum. Hunt vs. Werdum wil be a matchup for the ages, as Hunt is the owner of several post fight bonuses and a string of consecutive wins. These heavyweights will ensure that UFC® 180 lives up to the hype.
