UFC® will put on the biggest mixed martial arts festival in the world July 7-12, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Fourth Annual UFC® International Fight Week is a week-long celebration and an opportunity for fighters and fans alike to come together in the city the UFC® has made its home.
Since the creation of the festival four years ago, it has grown into a huge event for the promotion and fans of MMA. It is the largest gathering of fighters in the world.
2015 UFC International Fight Week
A huge UFC Fan Expo at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center
The fan expo features hundreds of fighters and UFC® celebrities signing autographs, taking photos with fans, as well as lots of fight-themed vendors. The expo is the perfect opportunity for fans to get to attend meet-and-greet with fighters and Octagon™ Girls, and to have UFC® star sightings!
UFC® fighters and icons are notorious for reaching out and spending time with the fans who have made them famous. While attending, there is a great chance a fan will get to meet or even hang out with some of their favorite fighters.
Official Pool Party with the Octagon™ Girls
Fans can hang out with fighters and the beautiful Octagon™ girls at the Official Pool Party during International Fight Week.
Open Workouts with Fighters
Participants of fight week can attend open workouts with some of the most elite athletes and mixed martial artists in the world!
Charity Events with Fighters
This year’s event will feature even more events, such as a charity bowling night, as well as an Ulti-main 5k Race. The week also features fan experiences to help raise money for the UFC Community Works Program which benefits Three Square Food Bank, Boys & Girls Club of Southern Nevada, Sunrise Children’s Hospital, and other charities.
The whole week will culminate in a weekend of tough fights, including the finale of The Ultlimate Fighter, as well as a full fight card for UFC® 189 on July 11.
Last Year’s Event
Last year, UFC®’s International Fight Week saw more than 70,000 fans come out for the huge event.
The 2014 fight week had a little something for everyone … even art enthusiasts! A unique “Art of Fighting” exhibit was put up for the event in Vegas. The exhibit showcased the uniqueness of the sport of mixed martial art through paintings, photographs and other works.
Over 1,500 competitors came out for a Grappler’s Quest tournament in 2014, including men, women and children. The International Mixed Martial Arts Federation also presented the first ever World Championship in amateur MMA which involved more than 200 athletes.
International Fight Week has also frequently featured multiple free concerts and entertainment for fans and fighters to let loose at!
Viva Las Vegas!
The city of Las Vegas is sure to light up for the big week. The whole city will participate with hot spots such as the Venetian, The Palazzo Las Vegas, Fremont Street Experience, LIQUID Pool at Aria, and El Cortez, all putting on UFC®-themed events for fans and fighters in town.
Meet-and-greets will take place all across Las Vegas, as well as special appearances by fighters, Octagon girls™ and industry icons.
