UFCVIPE-Championship-BeltIt feels like just yesterday that we were kicking the year off with UFC® 168. It’s now more than mid-way through September with just three short months remaining before we usher in 2015.

Thus far we’ve crowned two new champions:
TJ Dillashaw and Johny Hendricks. 2014 has also brought us some Fight of the Year candidates, with epic battles, as well as, amazing title defenses.

While there is only a short time before we ring in the new year, these months are packed with UFC action that includes the possibility for new champions to be crowned!

UFC® 178: Sept. 28th 2014

Fight Night is so close we can smell it! With the flyweight title on the line, the rest of the main card as well as a stacked undercard, UFC fans can expect a night full of unforgettable fights.

UFC® 178 will include Chris Cariaso challenging Demetrious Johnson for the strap.

UFC® 180: Nov. 15th 2014

This card is slowly coming together and is proving to be a can’t-miss affair for MMA fans. The main event is set and showcasing heavyweight Cain Velasquez squaring off against Fabrício Werdum.

Thus far the card is coming together with some of the best matchups of the year AND UFC® 180 will be set in Mexico! Another opportunity for the UFC to bring MMA to a different of the world, and for fans outside of Mexico to travel!

UFC® 181: Dec. 6th 2014

The final PPV of the year is designed to thrill. With TWO title bouts and set in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Events Center, UFC® 181 will showcase the best the UFC has to offer.

So far it’s been announced that Johnny Hendricks will look to defend heavyweight title against Robbie Lawler for the second time, while lightweight champ Anthony Pettis is slated to make his first title defense against Gilbert Melendez!

All the action isn’t saved for the co-main events as the rest of the card features heavyweights Travis Browne against Brendan Schaub and shines on the lightweight division when Corey Anderson takes on Gian Villante.

UFC® 182: Jan. 3rd 2015

Ring in the new year with the UFC and light heavyweight champ Jon Jones! Originally scheduled for late 2014, see the highly anticipated matchup between Bones and Daniel ‘DC’ Cormier. These two will meet as the main event of the first fight in 2015.

Jones fans and detractors alike agree on one thing-his fights are epic. Be there for the first fight of the year and witness Bruce Buffer calling out “And still…” or “And new…”.
